The Parkville Campus of The University of Melbourne is located in the heart of Melbourne.
It is walking distance to tram, bus and train stops; 10 minutes by tram from Flinders Street Station; 25 minutes by car from Tullamarine International Airport; and walking distance to the cafes and restaurants and shops of Carlton and Lygon Street.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering
The department itself is located at the south end of the Parkville campus, in block E fronting Grattan Street. The Main Office is on the fourth floor.
